Hi. Being a longtime permanent resident of the US I wish to finally
begin the process of applying for citizenship. Part of the reason I
have delayed starting the process before now is my fear, rightly or
wrongly, of the lengthy paperwork involved. Not wishing to start a
flame war here, but are groups such as "www.uscitizenship.info", which
charge a fee for online form assistance, worth using to make the
application process a little easier and for form checking?
Thanks for reading.

However, many, many people file the naturalization paperwork themselves. It's only one form (N-400) and some supporting documents. It seems to me to be the most straightforward part of the whole immigration journey.
Best Wishes,
Rene

Thank you both for replying. You have been quite helpful. Apologies
for the duplicate posting; I tried to catch/correct the mispelling of
"reading" as the first one was being posted.
