question about interview time

Hey all :).

I'm a bit nervous about my INS interview for the K-1 visa next week but it's
tolerable :).

Just a quick question.

I've read in a few places that they give you an interview time but it's just a
number. My appointment is at 2 pm on March 20th in Vancouver. Would I be wasting my
time by showing up say at 8 am and hope for first come first serve or would I
actually have to wait until 2? If that's the case then I'd arrive there around 12:30
or so and enjoy my morning while in town :).

I can't believe how fast the time is going!! Married next month!!! :).

Thanks ahead of time for any replies.

That's wierd that they didn't set it for the morning sometime as most consulates I've
seen set theres for anywhere between 8 and 9, where it's still a first come first
serve basis and you're usually done no later than
3. I'd call the consulate and find out if that time is correct.

I also had my K1 interview in Vancouver. Just show up a couple of minutes before the
actual time. They do not want you there really early and may not let you in if you
decide to go earlier.

Take a book to read as you will be doing some waiting while they process your
paperwork.

Good Luck! "franko" <[email protected]> wrote in message
