Default Processing reports

Hey everyone. I just noticed that the USCIS website now has the processing reports for the service centers and district offices along with info as to how long one should wait to expect a decision on their case. Seems they must've gotten tired of all our nagging! Here's the link:

https://egov.immigration.gov/graphic...sp?textFlag=N#

For MSC, their latest progress report is dated 11/13.

I think 11/13 is the date they were posted on the web for dispaly, 11/06
would be the date they were actually generated.

Oops, oops, possible error on the CSC report. At least I hope so!

The CSC report now shows I-130 processing for spouses of 04-06-01. The last three reports were showing 02-05-03. Big difference! I'm thinking it is a clerical error on the USCIS report, since the line above, K-3 (which CSC doesn't do and was previously shown as blank) shows 02-05-03.

Hmmmmm.

Wow!!!! Three whole days!!!! That IS major progress. VSC actually regressed about 20 days' worth a couple of months ago and have been stuck at the same date since!

Cool, this is really great news!
I like to see technology making progress, even though the dates shown are
not exactly we all want to see.
It's a bit like the "progress line" in some installation programs, they
don't really tell you how when the installation or download will be over,
but every bit of progress in that line makes us feel good, isn't that so?

BTW the link you posted got somehow broken in the display (in mine at
least). I repeat it here for convenience, after removing some unnecessary
parts of the URL:

https://egov.immigration.gov/graphic...jsps/index.jsp

I'm not convinced of the accuracy either. The info on the Phoenix page
for AP and EAD more or less agrees with my experiences but they say
they are processing AOS application with a receipt date of April 1
2001. I applied for AOS in May 2002 and got my green card last month.

I guess at least they are erring on the cautious side!

Hi:

I'm in "workgroup" with the L.A. District. They have not done interviews since July. They expect to start again in January. Their backlog reduction is not working all that well. They have had clerical personel reductions, they lack resources, there has been a budget freeze.

BTW, the figure on the net [brand new] is "accurate".

You figure it out. I can't.

Hmmmm....if those dates are accurate, the Tampa office will get to my AOS
application in about 2 years.

Hi:

Word of caution -- it is a common fallacy to believe that just because they are "x" months behind, it will take "x" months to get to your case. It may be 0.5 x or it may be 2x -- you have no way of really telling.

Call me naive, but I called the BCIS 800 number regarding the processing times and they said the stated times for some of California offices were not accurate.
