Premium H1B Visa Processing - can I start working before Oct ?
If my new employer uses the H-1B Premium Processing when they submit the application on 1 April, does that mean I get the results of the application within 15 days, but still need to wait until October to start work, or can I start work for my new employer on receipt of the application results?
I am currently in the US on an L-1A with my UK based employer.

Technically you could work outside of the US for your employer in another office or as a consultant - I think. Can someone confirm that?

Thanks for the replies and confirmation that the Premium Processing only returns the result of the application earlier, but the earliest start date is still Oct.
We will still go with the Premium Processing because my current UK employer may move me to another location around mid May, and in that case I'll work for them abroad and return in Oct. to start with the new company.
