Re: Parents sponsorship and I-864 questions
I am wondering if I can do digital signature on form I-864 or it has to be black ink signature? I did signature and scan the doc, but file size sky rocketed to 18 MB and max upload size is 2 MB hence, I am wondering if digital sign works?
Anyone has any experience or thought?

Unless something has changed in recent years, my understanding is that signatures must be original ink.

Agree with the above. You're signing a contract, original signature is required.

Years back it was advised that the original signature should be in blue ink to show it was not a copy.

Thank you all for your prompt response. I will figure it out to reduce the size of the file that has my original signature.

We could speculate or look at the USCIS policy manual....

That said, I do recall a post about an issue with a N400 signature in the last 6 months maybe. I think it was petitefrancaise son?

Re: Parents sponsorship and I-864 questions
The OP's parents are in India and are doing Consular Processing. The Department of State does not require wet ink signatures on I-864.
