http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/i-485.htm (for adjustment of
status application) lists the forms (see bottom of post) with Special
Instruction stating "May be filed only when a Visa Number is
immediately available to you".

Anyway, how old can the I-824 be compared to the time I can turn in
the AOS application, i.e the time a visa becomes a vailable for me? I
am sking this because my sponsor may already be oversea for a few
motnhs by the time I can apply for AOS.

Due to personal issues between us, I avoid talking her much less to
ask her when she will go oversea, when she will be back, etc. and also
she tends to show me disrespect (I guess she gets pleasure out of
doing so) by not informing me about things, i.e not treating me like a
a family member. Two weeks ago, my 22 year old nephew (his parents are
not here), who lived with her was missing and I had to hear it from a
family friend. He had passed away. I am pissed off about a lot of
things....

My goal is get my GC and get the h88l away form here.

I also have concern about making sure that all supporting documents
are properly done and hence will have a lawyer to check for me. Will I
need to fill G-28 then? I don't want to go hire a lawyer too early yet
and hennce I am asking all these questions here.

Also, my understanding (from this ng) was to wait to do Medical
examination until the form for it is sent to me and I am instructed to
do so instead of filing it along with I-485 form.

BTW, among the list shown below, what is I-601 for?

Thanks.

I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status
G-325A, Biographic Information
Copy of your I-797, Notice of Action, showing that the I-130 petition
was approved
