My wife and I e-filed to renew our EAD cards at the beginning of March 2004.
Our EAD's are I-485 based and I'm the principal applicant. When my case
became current at the beginning of June, I found the Last Updated date on
the USCIS online case status service updated but the text message remained
unchanged. I was expecting a RFE but nothing so far. Then a couple of days
later, my wife's case was approved and the message was changed accordingly.
She received her card two days later. It has been a whole month since my
case became current and my case status still remains the same. Does anyone
know what happened? I hope the INS officials haven't lost my case or
forgotten about me. Does anyone have this kind of experience? What will
happen in the end? Is there any thing I can do to make a query to the INS?
