one step closer to the GC ...
so my i-140 was approved on 1/25 (The attorneys just told me now when i told them the PP time is up!).
I also got my biometrics done today.
It looks like its just the i485 now. It was filed in Oct 2018 so as per my calculation by April 7th it would be 6 months.
Apparently I should receive my EAD + AP card once April 7th passes. That would allow me to change jobs and travel. Is that accurate?

Re: one step closer to the GC ...
Congratulations.
The I-485 became pending on 1/25. This means on about 7/25, if you hadn't been greened already, the approved I-140 will have been approved for 180 days, and cannot be revoked by your current employer. This is the date you can change jobs (staying in the same field) without any issues. As soon as you get your EAD you can in theory change jobs, but this will create all manner of complications. For sure you can travel as soon as AP is granted though.

i-485 was filed concurrently, i.e. in Oct 2018. Doesnt the clock start from then ?

I deleted my response, others will know for sure. What does your lawyer say?

ive done some more research online, all sources say that concurrent means that the i-485 clock starts on receipt notice. For me this was oct 2018.

Congratulations nudda, filing concurrently was also a very good move given USCIS' recent switch back to using FAD as the filing date. Just need to keep an eye on those visa bulletins now!

Ohhh my bad, I thought you were EB1 for some reason. If you've just had your biometrics appointment then I *think* that means your AOS is already under way, in my case it was just under 4 months between my biometrics appointment and my interview, so you could be looking at April or May for your interview. Good luck and keep us all posted!

Still not sure on how long my i765/i131 will take. I want to change jobs in April if possible and looking at peoples timelines, their EAD/AP got approved pretty quick. This is something I just can;t work out

Just as an indication, I had my EAD/AP card in hand roughly 2 months after my biometrics appointment, but as always YMMV!

Btw in trackitt I have:-
I-765 case: Pending for 115 days (-41 days more than average)
I-131 case: Pending for 115 days (-51 days more than average)
Seems like people are getting theirs quicker than me. I take trackitt stats with a pinch of salt though ...
