Old J-1 visa - no information available
Hi all, so my E-2 visa is being processed and I'm trying to get everything in order for the interview. In the past (2002) I had a J-1 student visa and I declared this on my application form but it's dawned on me that I have no information or evidence of this anymore.
Any paperwork I used to have is long gone and I never thought it would be needed again. I don't have the old passport with it in either. I can imagine being asked about it but am I required to have supporting documentation for it? I don't even remember the company I went through to get it. Can anyone advise on this please? Thanks Michael |

Thanks for that, puts my mind at ease. As usual I'm over thinking things I'm sure!

I took my old passport which had a J1 visa to my interview last month and offered it over to the officer with my other documentation. She told she didn't need it.
