I had mine done in Chicago. We had a woman dressed as Betsy Ross come out and give us all little flags. It was quite sweet.

You’re luck to get a ceremony! At the office where I am having mine, they are doing the interview and then at the end if you have passed your swear the oath in front of the officer and he hands you a certificate and off you go. No ceremony. I’m not that bothered. I’ve been waiting over a year and still have an estimated 4 months to go so I will just be relieved to get it over with.

I would have preferred that, I've been in the states 12 years now and would just like it over with :) I'm not into all the fuss!

If you know your old username ask the Mods and they should be able to merge your accounts and get you back your old identity.

Nope, we're not given those powers either, it's only Admin that can do it. But it's been requested of Bob I believe, I'm sure he'll sort it for the OP.
