I have my oath ceremony scheduled for tomorrow:
Does anyone know how long the oath ceremony takes?
Also, do I need to memorize the oath?
Thanks for sharing your experiences,
JS

You don't have to memorize it. They will give you a printed sheet to read from.
The day itself can be one hour to 5 hours. First off the USCIS has to clear the oath takers paperwork. Depending on the number of people this can be short or long. Next is the preamble by whoever, then the oath and then the speeches, calling of names to come up and get your certificate, have pic taken if permitted and then you leave.
Ours had us get there at 9 and we were out at 12.

just relax. The oath takes betwee 2-3 hours. At a public ceremony, all
take the oath in unision. One more thing though, do not forget to
answer the questions in the oath letter and sign before heading to
the ceremony. You will get the certificate at the end of the
ceremony.
And congratulations
