O/T business question
Dave and I have decided to start a home business filling ink carts and other computer activities. As i have my conditional residency green card, Is it correct that I am allowed to apply for a sales tax and business licence ?

Technically you do not need to be a US citizen or permanent resident to own
a company in the US. However, being one makes things easier since you are
allowed to work for it! Anyway, the answer is yes.

a company in the US. However, being one makes things easier since you are
allowed to work for it! Anyway, the answer is yes.

Assuming you are legally able to work, you are legally to work in your
business. The tax and licensing issues depend on the location of the
business and might also depend on the location of the people you are
doing business with.
