Well it is just about time to update the group about my wife's EAD
saga..
Sent in EAD = Early Feb 2003
Received Yellow Receipt = Feb 5 2003
EAD pick up date = still waiting.
I have been thinking about going to Federal Plaza, but the thought of
standing in line, starting at 2AM, has me contemplating.. to say the
least :-)
Called the 800 BCIS number and they opened up a case status inquiry,
and they mentioned that I will receive a response, via mail, in 3-4
weeks. Well, thank god that we are going on vaccation for 10 days(end
of this week) and when we come back, we should hopefully have
something in mail.
So how is your timeline with NYC??
Oh btw, the 800 number happened to mention that NYC timeline for EAD
is 120 days(including weekends).

Yes NYC is running 120 days for an EAD. They have been at this timeline now for over six months. BTW do not hold your breath for a reply to the 1-800's inquiry on your behalf. I would love to see it happen for you but I am not over optimistic. Have a great vacation. Do hope you are staying within the borders of the US if you don't have Advance Parole.
