I'm assuming you're waiting for a K3 from CSC/MSC, and if so the 1st NOA number you've got propogates around from MSC to NVC and is the same one used for the 2nd NOA and to confirm the mailing to the appropriate consulate.

Mrbaros61, 131 days seems to me a bit longer than the current processing time. Most of the CSC applications are running @ 90-100 days. I guess yours might be one of those few applications from November-December 2002, that are still pending.

Well think about me, the BCIS at CSC has lost my application submitted 20 days ago. They are searching for it !!!!! Also losing our precious days of priority.

God alone can save us.

Hope you get processed within days. Good luck my friend.

He's a K-1, not a K-3, if I recall from prior threads.

Calling the CSC case status line, you enter into the automated system the same WAC number that appears on the top of your NOA-1. There is no other number at the NOA-1 stage.

If you have done that and there is no change in your status reported, and NVC says they have no record of your case, please follow the well-meant advice you've received from several people, including myself, in a *number* of threads.

I have followed all advice, I'm frustrated...

Congressman's liason sent an inquiry 3 weeks ago (I know, they have 30
days....)

Attorney sent level 2 fax to BCIS (9 more days to go), I'm over 30 days passed
the latest JIT report...

These BCIS people are morons. Thanks for all the support...If I dig up any
useful info, I'll add it in here on a new thread. I had hoped that maybe, just
MAYBE my case had made it to the NVC without a notice/internet update...I
noticed some people don't even get that before they know anything.

hi - when you say you're 30 days past the JIT report do you mean thirty days
past the date the JIT was issued or 30 days past the date of your receipt.
This may seem trite but I read something very interesting today on Mathew
Udall's site:
1st noa nsc 9/13/02
2nd.............................

"How to use the CSC Report:
The most recent report was published on 03/15/03. An I-129f petition with a
receipt "notice" date of 12/23/02 (or earlier) means that on the date of
publication of the latest report, that case had been given to an BCIS officer
for processing and therefore should be acted upon (approved, denied or a
request for additional evidence sent) within 30 business days after 03/15/03.
If 30 business days go by without some action being taken on your case, it
would then be considered "overdue" and the CSC should be contacted.

If on the date the latest report was published your "notice" date is later than
12/23/02, your case was still sitting on the fiancée shelf, had not yet been
assigned to an BCIS officer for adjudication, and the 30 business day clock (to
determine if your case can be considered "overdue") had not yet started."

(By the way does this CSC Report also pertain to the other service centers?) :

Sounds as if you are at a similar point in trying to find out what is happening to myself - although with a different type of petition. I went through the CSC fax enquiry procedure and received a response shortly before I reached Level 3 on 03/20/03. My Congressman's aide has also sent a written enquiry on 03/14/03.... nothing has happened yet... as you said they have 30 days to respond to the Congressional aide. They received my response to an RFE on 12/16/02 and still haven't adjudicated the case....

I'd love to know if you get anywhere and sincerely hope you do - SOON !!

Hi,

My first NOA was 11/22/02. On the JIT report of 2/15/03 it listed my date. It
is well beyond the 30 day window.

The JIT (Just In Time) report is published for each service center. CSC refers
to the California Service Center (although I and a few others haven't seen any
"service"). If I read your mail correctly, you filed at the NSC (Nebraska
Center?). On Feb. 15, the JIT for your center published a date of 9/03/02, and
the March 1 report shows 9/27/02. Somewhere between mid Feb and March 1, 2003
your case was assigned to someone. At this point, you are also past the 30 day
window and considered "overdue" This is the website I use to monitor JIT
reports. There are other sites that may update sooner.

http://www.immigration.com/processing-times/ne.html

I would consider emailing the US Congressman and Senators for your area, and
not delaying. One of them has a liason that deals directly with the BCIS and
can run an inquiry. I have heard from some that you will have to sign a form
for permission, but I did not in my case. Also, I would consider seeing an
attorney who has appropriate fax numbers for the NSC and let him/her fax the
appropriate level of inquiry (I called the National INS line for numbers and
they gave me the wrong sets, so I wasted time). Also, call the NSC, if you can
get through. I cannot, the CSC is ALWAYS busy...

I wish you luck and if I can help you in any other way I would be happy to. Do
you have a link to Mathew Udall's site you can mail me? I haven't heard of that
one yet.

Regards,

Mike

PS I'm an I-129F begging for a K-1...LOL!!

You can find the forms for making various types of inquiries at the CSC here together with a copy of the CSC guildelines for 2002 ( I believe 2003 has only just been released):-

http://www.immigration.com/newsletter1/cscinqproce.html

Please bear in mind that the phone numbers shown on the sheets have changed.. the new ones are here :-
