A-Number for naturalized USC co-sponsor?
So, as mentioned in previous posts, my pending approval for AOS is dependent on us getting a co-sponsor. Kate's father has agreed to be our co-sponsor, and he is a naturalized USC.
On the I-864, there is a space for the sponsor's A-Number. Since he is now a U.S. citizen, do we need to include his? We know it probably won't matter either way (and we did find it on his naturalization certificate, so we do have the number), but when someone becomes a citizen, do they still technically "have" an A-Number?
Cheers,
CLEM
