Default NSC I-751 Approval w/o interview! Yay!!!

We filed to have conditions removed the first part of September through the NSC.

NOA date: September 12, 2005

On the letter it has "Date of decision" listed as October 27, 2005

We only just received the approval today, November 2, 2005.

46 days was much faster than we had initially thought we would be waiting. We had sat back thinking we would have a 1 - 2 year wait. LOL I'm glad we were wrong.

I had noticed a trend of recent quick approvals out of Nebraska and was hoping we would somehow benefit from their sudden surge of speediness and we did! Yay! Now we just have to go to Kansas City to go through the motions of getting his 10 year card.

Next stop...naturalization!

No, not tons. Just enough of all the right things. I've spent plenty enough time reading this forum and everyone else's questions about I-751 evidence to know that overkill isn't neccesarily a good thing if you want speedy processing. Too much evidence can actually slow the process down, at least that is what I have come to believe from what we have read here. We just made sure we had solid bits of evidence showing our co-mingled lives and finances.

Thanks, everyone, for your words of congratulations!

Congratulations!!!

We submitted ours back in March of 2005, at the VCS, still not a word. I did call the National Service line about a month or so ago, and they said it’s still pending, go figure.
