Noob chiming in.
British expat newbie chiming in to say hello. Been a lurker for while and decided to register. Been living in central FL now for over 9 months and recently got my SS number and driving license. Looking for work currently, so any advice would be appreciated.

But do you have your concealed weapons license yet? This IS Florida after all!

Thank for the welcome
Not really bothered to be honest, anything is fine, wouldn't mind working with other British expats. Never thought I'd say this but I really miss the British LOL. I was in I.T. and desktop support for 10+ years back in Blighty. However wouldnt mind anything that will allow me to flex my c/s talents and charm
@anotherlimy, not yet. Ive only recently got my SS and driving license. Im currently awaiting my green card interview. Can I still get a gun?

I thought anyone who is a lawful alien and has resided in the state for more than 90 days can purchase one. Im not really bothered to be honest, no rush to go out and buy a gun. Although I did thoroughly enjoy shooting various firearms at my local range sometime ago.

With hunting license and the 90 days residency you probably can, but if you really wanted to get one you should double check with the BATF.
