Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application
Well, I would be remiss if I didn't offer my congratulations to those who are getting notice to send their passports and/or to those who are just now getting their passports back with the visa inside. This is very good news!
I know there are those who feel that I'm simply negative and try to turn any joy into despair - but that's because people want "so much" for things to hurry up that they grasp at straws often even when that flies in the face of reality! I believe there's great harm in constantly setting yourself up for disappointment... and so I try to temper that enthusiasm with a dose of reality. Do I do that deliberately? Well, yes - I guess I do... because it's better to be grounded rather than get your hopes up and see them constantly dashed. So, congratulations to all. And in case anyone is wondering... I don't plan to change my ways! :) Ian |

It stops people like me getting ahead of themselves and thinking "i will get a visa, i have nothing to worry about" It is posts like yours that bring people back down to reality. I for one, are glad that this is the way that you give advice and I'm glad to read that your not going to change your ways. If some people find things you say very harsh and negative, then thats up to them, but i would rather be in a position where I've read and listened to your advice, and then i won't be disappointed if things don't go your way, than to dismiss your advice, and to build up hope only to be heart broken if things don't go your way and then think "he was right" Keep up the good advice, because i may need it again someday. regards Mark. |

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application
Sorry I disagree!
I'd much rather be positive on the wait of the email than be a negative misog for 6 months Be positive people and if all fails and it doesn't come in time.....yes it will be upsetting but you will get over it :) And anyway if we all agreed with Ian on this forum my GOD it would be a depressing site. :/ Look at at all the positive posts we have had on here lately Fingers crossed for all you waiting positive thinking  |

[QUOTE=hungryhorace;11271778]It's not about being 'negative'. It's about being realistic. All the positivity in the world won't help speed up the process. It's better people realise that sooner rather than later.[
Hmmmmmmm where's the post gone where you were calling me an idiot :sneaky: Deleted it did you?!?!? Now now no need to get personal! We are all allowed our opinions and I'm not calling u an idiot because of ur post ;) |

I did, yes. I thought better of it. Though, my opinion does still remain the same.
Uses of 'u' and 'ur' just confirm my opinion of your intelligence level. Keep smiling hungry Horace rahahahaha  Anyway everyone else! Anymore emails or letters to send passports? Keep us all updated :) |

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application
I'm at week 16 and thinking neither positive or negative. It is what it is and what will be will be. My waiver application is not for a holiday and the implications of being denied would be massive for my family, so the wait time just lurks in the back of my mind for now, although I do like reading of other people's positive outcomes ;)

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application
Hello
I had Attended H1B visa in London Embassy on 02 Jan 2014 and issued 221(g) White slip and said your case required some administrative Process and we wil get back to you by email soon and gave back my Passport. once we get back to you the Visa office said to send me the passport and no need to attend the interview again. Waited for 5 months now and the status shows ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESS from day 1 till now. they not even requested me for additional documents and no response from them :( Have any other face the same like me and waiting. How many days are you waiting from? Thanks Varun |
