Quick question here. I had my interview 5 weeks ago and was refused and recommended for a waiver. I know it's a 6 month plus processing time. My question is will my CEAC status remain "refused" right up until I get approved and need to send my passport etc? Will it basically say "refused" even tho I've been recommended for a waiver? I thought it might have changed to something else. Hope you can help.

You dont need to send any thing until they ask for ur caec will stay refused until the last stage of the process

On average, it's closer to 8 months currently.

That magic email arrived today 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆 happy doesn't come close! !!! Can I ask do I just return my passport in the post to London embassy ?

No. You must make arrangements with the courier to pick it up. The courier info is on the London web site.
