Hi All
I am facing an issue. I am filling L1 B Blanket visa , but there is a mismatch in my father's name in Passport and Provisional Degree. Since I need to fly to USA by Jan 1 will my L1 B petition will be rejected.
I contacted my university for getting change of my fathers name in my provisonal degree ,but they said it will take 2 months or so.
Will an affidavit will work ..........Please respond as soon as possible....

You don't seem to be very clear on your status. Do you already have a L1 visa stamped in your passport? Or you need to visit the embassy for one?
If it is a blanket application, which petition you are talking about?
By the way, I don't think they check your degrees at entry point. I don't even remember it during the visa stamping. They stress more on the employer documents as it's L1 visa.

the company lawyer who actually does the paperwork (employer files not you) should be able to advise.
