Need Help about the DV Lottery photo

Hello, I wanna know if it's okay to change the background photo of us dv lottery into white by using photoshop ? is there any one do that and won the dv lottery ?

I haven't done it, but as long as it looks like an original I don't see why it wouldn't be OK.

If you read the instructions, I believe it says that digital enhancement and retouching is not permitted. It would seem that messing with the background would fall into that category.

I would listen to Nutmegger. Just take a real passport photo, better safe than sorry.

As the UK is excluded, it might be better if you post your question on another site where more people have emigrated through the lottery.

It's relevant.

To OP: retouching might result in a rejection so it's not worth trying to fix a duff photo given what is at stake. Get it done properly.

In that case I can’t recommend a photographer but adhering to the photo requirements is important if you don’t want to be automatically rejected. I’d avoid any digital retouching.

BE is home to people of all nationalities, not just Brits. In fact the immigration forums for the US were pulled in from outside sources back in 2001 and its membership was quite diverse.
