Default Naturalization

Could someone advise whether the 3 year waiting period before applying for Naturalisation from PR includes or excludes the AOS wait time?

i.e. 3 years from AOS approval or 3 years from applying for AOS?

Thanks

The time clock starts from the date of approval of residency. The wait time for AOS is not included.

Hi:

You asked a very precise question and I answered it.

However, you are NOT a "lawful permanent resident" until the adjustment is approved and completed. [BTW, "conditional" 2 year status is also "permanent"].

You need 5 [sometimes 3] years of LPR status to naturalize.

Methinks that the humour (ooops humor) of some of the regulars in this forum is sometimes lost on newcomers

He asked if anyone could advise him and the answer was that the
responder could advise him.
