I changed my name when I became a naturalized US citizen. The name change is only
documented on the back page of my naturalization certificate. My naturalization
certificate is the only document, which I have showing my name change.
Question 1) Should I have any other INS document that shows my name change?
Question 2) I got married few months ago using my old name (birth name) and the
marriage is documented in my birth certificate, which of course has my old name. I am
going to do a DCF soon and I want to know if I need to have any other documentation
about my name change beside the naturalization certificate. I already got a
translation of my birth certificate.
Thanks for any help,

You can't legally change your name but by two ways. Marriage or if you = do it
legally with the courts. You cannot change your name at = naturalization. (I believe
you did it, it is just not a legal name = change)

Actually, it can be done by INS. It has been done by INS for many years. It was very
common at Ellis Island. It's on the N-400. The swearing in ceremony is a legal
process. This IS doing it with the courts...
