Default N400 Question

Quick question, wonder if anyone can help.

Sent off the N400 application to Vermont along with covering doc's and check, mailed 7/21/07. Pack arrived 7/24/07. Check cashed just over a week later.

Since then nothing, No NOA confirming receipt, no request for fingerprinting (probably premature on that one)

Should I be concerned that I didn't receive the NOA for receipt or am I worrying about nothing.

Another forumite posted a link to a news bulletin from USCIS a few days ago stating how they are behind in sending out NOAs and getting your case entered in the system, because of the overload from everyone trying to beat the fee increases.

Hello there...how's the wife?

We didn't get a receipt...the first thing we received was an appointment for the bio's. It was received about 6 wks after we mailed our application and we were given 3 days notice. Our application was submitted at the end of Aug last year.

Then we didn't hear anything else until we got our interview letters. Our daughter's application took 3 months from start to finish...ours took 6. Don't take any notice of the info times on the USCIS website...they mean diddly squat.
