I am a legal permanent resident based in Northern California.
I applied for Naturalization back in May 2020 and still have not received an interview / appointment date (I did receive a notice that Biometrics can be used).
What are the current lead times.... How can I check when to expect my appointment?
Also a relative who lives locally and is married to a US citizen who applied 4 months after me has received her appointment confirmation from the same local field office, does this fall into a higher priority queue?

There is no rhyme or reason/logic to USCIS. Someone living next door to you could apply on the same day, under the same circumstances and have similar supporting evidence and their case may take significantly longer or shorter than yours to process. Also worth noting CA has multiple field offices which shows they clearly deal with a lot of cases.
