I'm going to go with my father-in-law next week. Ben decided he really wanted me to go then, rather than risking some kind of screw up with rescheduling and paperwork. So within the week I will be American and shall apply for my new US passport.
The ceremony letter says "Proper attire should be worn". I'm guessing that means smart, somewhat dressy clothes?

Don't forget to have FIL bring the camera as well. They might allow you to take a picture with the judge who does the oath at your ceremony.
