Re: N-400 Timeline in Phoenix
And the winner is....... ME!
Interview Date: March 11, 2009. 1:30 pm. Woo hoooooo! (we can sleep late that morning)
Norri, I was on the lookout for that weird online message you had indicating we'd be getting the appointment letter. I even checked online today, still said case received and pending from Dec 4. Got home, opened the mailbox, and there was the appointment letter!!
Oh boy, I can't wait to start organizing the file for Sadegh to take to the interview! hehehe
Sadegh and I are SOOOO excited!!! Thanks to everyone here for all your continued support and advice...we couldn't have made it this far without you guys!

Re: N-400 Timeline in Phoenix
Wednesday we can sleep in (if we manage to sleep at all...lol), have leisurely coffee and a light lunch before we head out around 12:30 for his 1:30 appointment.
He'll stay another night, and hopefully celebrate with a fancy shmancy dinner at Persian Room restuarant. http://www.persianroom.com/
He goes back to work in LA on Thursday around noon. I'll be sure to post the experience as soon as I can!
Thanks for the good wishes!

Re: N-400 Timeline in Phoenix
Are you going to be quizzing him over your leisurely coffee and croissants in the morning? I did that for Jim up to the last minute and drove both of nuts.
Will be thinking of you both and crossing all my digits for S. Here's a little karma for his good luck.

Re: N-400 Timeline in Phoenix
Hi All,
It's 5:00 am, and I can't sleep...Sadegh is zonked out, he had no problem getting to sleep. I'll go back to bed soon and catch a few winks before time to really get up later.
I don't think we'll do the quiz thing this morning. We justwant to relax and have a clear-minded, no-stress morning. We spent a few hours last night going over everything, I was very impressed with how much he's learned on his own - that cassette tape I made him really helped! He knew 97 of the 100 civics questions without any hesitation. He did well on the yes/no questions from the N-400 (we might review a couple of those). He has all the originals of things to bring to the interview. We are good to go!
I'll be back later tonight or tomorrow to post the details. Thank you all for your good wishes, we couldn't have come this far without the help of all the nice peeps this forum!
