Re: N-400 + Nolle Prosequi Traffic Ticket

I had the same question. I thought you could file as early as 90 days before the end of your three years as a green card holder, when it is related to marriage to a USC. If the OPs anniversary is in December, 2021 March is way over 90 days.
Starting to make some progress on my N-400 under the 3 year rule. 3 year anniversary in December, but able to file early - hopefully before the price hike.
In reference to your quote above "able to file early" can you elaborate just how early did you file prior to the three years date and how many physical present days did you have at the time of filing?

There is a calculator on the USCIS website to check, but typically 90 days before the permanent residency requirement you can file - so long as you meet the other requirements. I've been a resident for another year on top of my green card as I was waiting for adjustment.

Got it thank you for the reply. Have you received notification of your interview date yet?

I know I need to brush up on my civics a little - particularly who my senator etc is (I can never seem to remember NC politics).
I have a letter from the courts for my old ticket so think I'm good there.
My I-751 is still pending. Hoping that clears up prior. Potomac aren't too far behind my date, unless it gets moved to the field office for a dual interview.
So I guess yes. A little nervous due to a few moving parts at the same time, but nothing that can't be overcome.

In the original GC application it asks "have you ever been detained etc?" I replied "Yes", and showed some speeding things.
It also asks "have you ever committed a crime for which you have never been arrested?" Again, I replied "Yes".
This came up in the interview and the woman asked me what crime. I replied "speeding".
She stared at me then laughed, and said no one has ever answered yes to that question before! lol

Perhaps you just got a less experienced Officer!

Green card arrived in the mail yesterday. Only a few days between approval and it being in hand.

To provide an update here: I was meant to have my citizenship interview, but it was de-scheduled due to the Juneteenth holiday. I'm now scheduled for interview mid September.
