Default N-400 name check, delay

Any one waiting for name check for more than 3 months? Please respond
for joint action to get the process moving.

3 months will not win in a WM case, I assure you.
Over a year perhaps can.
Remember the issue is security; the government can argue
effectively.

I am not talking about the writ of mandamum. I highly doubt that any
federal court would issue an injunction for a writ of mandamum when
the delay is soley due to name/security check by other agencies (other
than USCIS).

for you? send me a personal e-mail and I'll give you contact info at
FBI for such info.

I know a few people who have been waiting for 11 months now. They called the FBI and they were told that their fingerprints were processed the same day (which was more than a year ago!). Even going to BCIS a few times has been of no avail.

Does anyone know of a case where the oath cermony did happen after a long wait? All I have seen so far is people still waiting.

Didn't you do a name change? Don't name changes always cause delays?

Regarding the guess on whether the US will stop giving their citizenship even just solis ????? (by the way the USA is not a kingdom!!!!!) (the comment frustrated me; but that's my problem)

I feel bad for you that you have to wait so long and I sincerely hope you'll get your swearing in date soon.

Shaky,

I can be a titty baby sometimes and I understand how frustrating it is to wait.

Hopefully, you'll get your date soon.

My interview was also in February 2003. I was told that I had passed
but a decision could not be made till the FBI name check was
completed. All inquires since then have come back with the same
response - FBI name check is pending. My local office is Seattle.

I tried searching on the web and found just one case where a WM forced
a response to an application pending due to the FBI check. The URL is:
http://people.cs.uchicago.edu/~stefanko/BCIS/

It does not say if the delay was purely administrative. This was a DV
- not sure if it applies to naturalization
