Curious, in filling the application, my I noticed that it requested in
the past 5 years how many times have you left the country, I can't
rember the exact date for the 1st of 2 trips accross the border. The
first trip was a day trip, the 2nd was for 2 nights. I can figure out
the 2nd from credit card receipts, but can't place the exact date on
the 1st trip. What should I do?

Notice that it only asks for trips of more than 24 hours anyway.
And in any case, just do the best you can. As long as these are just a
few short trips, the exact number of trips does not really make a
difference.
