Default My lawyers mistake

Hello. My name is Jaque and I thought using an attorney would help
bring my Mohammed here to Chicago from Jordan. We married Oct 1, 2002,
I didnt start papers til January because my lawyer wanted $1,500.00 to
start papers. After gathering everything he wanted, his paralegal sent
our information to the wrong place! She sent it to Nebraska and should
have went to Chicago for K3. So, finally yesterday, it was filed to
Chicago. Does anyone know how long the wait will be now? I have an
I130 dated March 18,2003 and an I129F that is dated April 18,2003 with
a wait of 150-180 days. Do you think this pertains to me? And do you
think the re-filing will affect his immigration? I bought my ticket
last week and will fly to see my Mohammed on Aug 29! We will have 8
glorious days and nights together. It will be hard to leave him
again, but knowing this is moving along helps some. Thanks to all of
you in this group, I dont feel so all alone. Good luck to all the
couples that are waiting patiently.

Hi:

Take a look at the processing times -- the NBC [former MSC] reported on July 15, 2003 that they were working on I-129F's recevied before May 30, 2003. There was one report on this NG of a person receiving an approval this week of a case filed in the first week of June.
