My brother is a USC!!!! There is hope and success!

My brother went today to Charlotte, NC for his N-400 interview and he
was approved! He went through a long and very difficult process-guess
now he is done forever and ever with INS :)

He had a pending I-751 for an interview. I helped him all the way and
every single step of the process-the key to his success was evidence
and documentation, and knowing to answer correctly the questions asked
and nothing more. He told me that the officer was very strict and
grilled him with questions and requests for evidence. He passed
everything. Finally the officer smiled for the first time, got up and
shook his hand and told him he was a USC citizen (He will be sworn in 3
days). What a victory! I am so happy! This has been a loooong, tearful,
painful journey.. He is finally free..

The officer was totally wrong. He will become a USC *only* after he takes the oath of allegiance, and not one moment before. At any rate, that'll be in 3 days, so congratulations to your brother.
