London interview, hotel recommendations

Hi,

Can any one recommend a decent hotel (not too expensive) that is close to the US Embassy in London. I will be travelling from the north so want to stay close to the embassy the night before the interview?

Thanks

Re: London interview, hotel recommendations

when i had my interview i stayed at the Earls Court Hotel (its actually a bed and breakfast), it was £30 for one night, which i think is pretty cheap for a london b&b. The room was fairly small, but it had a bed, tv, wardrobe and sink in the room and a shower and toilet in the hall. This is literally 10 seconds walk from the earls court tube station, so very conveniant. think it was about 5 or 10 mins on the tube to marble arch where you get off for the embassy.
