Little Confused.. Easily done here I guess!

Okay
I married My hubby in Feb '02
We hired a lawyer (mistakenly thought it was better)
She mailed off the I-130 to Chicago we got it back 14 days later. Wrong
Office! Recent it to Nebraska we got a receipt date of July 25, 02
Now It is my understanding that we were going the K3 route. What is with the
National Visa Center? and why are K3's getting approved with dates of 9
(September) being approved what happened to July (7)?
I'm I totally lost?

I am confused. Did you actually file I-129F for K-3?
You would have done this after the first Notice Of Action on the I-130.
If you just filed I-130, and not I-129F, then you are not being
processed for K-3, but just CR-1.

You have the receipts from the attorney from the attorney being for the fees you paid him/her or the receipts from INS?

Normally if you have an attorney of record, as I told another poster yesterday, the attorney receives the communication from INS not the client.

As for the I-129F, it goes to a lot of different offices. First to Chicago for filing, then to Missouri for initial processing and then to National Visa Center for more processing before it goes on to the US Consulate.
