Hey folks!
To update quickly:
* Got married whilst on a tourist visa.
* Wife in the States, I am in England.
* Filed I-130 in December, R.F.E. sent to us this month.
* Received USPS receipt for the R.F.E. arriving at VSC a few days ago.
Firstly, I'd like to thank all the people who kindly re-assured us that we were
actually married, and to be fair to the INS, our marriage actually wasn't registered,
due to a 'clerical error' (Grrr)!
Anyway, we are awaiting news on our petition, be it our second N.O.A. or (God forbid)
worse, and we were wondering, should we apply for a K3? Will it get us together
faster? And if, so, will it delay the processing of the original I-130?
Any links on the K3 process would be most appreciated. I miss my wife so much...
Thanks for reading...
Finn.

VSC have sped up their I-130 processing somewhat but it would still probably be
quicker to file for a K-3 (obviously the first step for this would be your wife
filing an I-129F). VSC say they are processing applications received 8/1/01 now (note
that's 1st September, not 8th January as it would read if it was a UK date) and to
expect 150-999 days (disregard the 999 and look at the 150 as an optimistic guess).
