Hi
Does anyone have experience of what to expect of an L!B intervies, going to the US as a lawyer?
I have read all posts here and am going away with a mixed reaction - it will be tough vs the questions might be a quick 5 minute interview.
Thanks so much for any tips!

That's because people have a wide variety of backgrounds.
In general, in my experience, if you have no criminal record, no dependents and appropriate qualifications for the position it should be pretty painless. Just make sure you have all your paperwork in order.
I get the impression that your ethnic background can also be a factor.

It may well be an issue. The main advice is not to lie about it.
Others with more experience than me should be along shortly to advise on what you may need to expect in that regard.

Oh and please do report back, regardless of the outcome. The more people report back, the better our collective wisdom becomes!

My L1B interview as an accountant with no convictions (and I'm black if that makes any difference) was painless and pretty pointless! I think it was just a case of putting a face to the name!
However, I'm sure different people have different experiences of this interview process.
I hope it went well!
