L2 visa holder with EAD can start own company in US?

Hi

L2 dependent visa holder of L1-A (Intra company transferee) with valid EAD can start an own company in the US?

What kind of company to do what type of business? OP doesn't say. Generally, the answer would be "yes" but there are circumstances or businesses where the answer would be an emphatic "no."

Starting a wholly owned US based Airline would be one as it would not be under the control of a US citizen..
