L2 interview for child
I have just had to change date for my (and my son's) L2 interview. The new date is just after my son's 14th birthday. The new confirmation still says in black and white that he is NOT required to attend in person and I would really rather not take him (out of school and expense of travelling). Just worried as I was led to believe age 14+ have to attend and I don't want problems...

Re: L2 interview for child
Just for info: despite my email confirmation telling my my son DOES NOT need to appear in person at interview now that he is 14.... I really wasn't going to take him but it was niggling me still and I have just been informed (after another call to the embassy appointment line) that he most definitely DOES. From age 14, kids need to be there in person for finger printing. Think I just dodged a bullet!
