L2 EAD requirement change

Hi

just wanted to make people aware, L2 spousal visas will no longer need to file for a separate EAD once in the US. USCIS has changed their policy and will make an annotation on I94 that states eligible to work for a spousal visa. Apparently it may take 120 days from November 12th to make the changes on the I94 form but a good thing for anybody currently waiting for an L2 spousal EAD with processing times longer than this.

Here is the link, point 4 of policy highlights refers. There are some other visas mentioned but I’m not too familiar with those:

Always a good thing to spread the news repeatedly.

The notation on the I-94 in the passport with work permission is the same that was done for K-1 Fiancee Visaholders 23 years ago.
