L1A to GC EB1(c)
All going well just wondering if anyone else is in the same position as me.
Application submitted on 16th March Biometrics Appointment on 20th April Are there any next steps or is it just sit tight and wait for the Green Card? This is going through the Texas immigration office. Anyone else going through similar and have any timeline updates? |

Re: L1A to GC EB1(c)
Am about to start this process. Are you guys all doing this through fast track/premium processing? Did you guys use lawyers or do it yourself? If so any recommendations for a good lawyer!? I am Atlanta based! Any idea on costs? Timeline lawyer suggested?
We got told by one lawyer it could be done and gc's in hand within 6 months!?! Sorry for the questions but any help much appreciated... |

I know this. They are happy to "sponsor" me they just dont want to pay the legal fees!

Re: L1A to GC EB1(c)
premium isnt available for this category right now so we are just 'standard'and Texas is quoting 4 months on the I140. any laywer 'guaranteeing ' a time is guessing at best.
my lawyer cost $5000 fees were another $1000 odd and I also had to pay for a business plan which was highly recommended. i can forward details of my lawyer by PM if required |

Re: L1A to GC EB1(c)
Currently, Texas Service Center is showing 4 months for I-140 and Feb 2012 for I-485. Even if both I-140 and I-485 are concurrently filed, how is everyone getting EADs so fast? Also, I used to think that one has to file I-765 for EAD.
I may be wrong, could anyone explain the steps involved in GC process under Eb-1c? |

Re: L1A to GC EB1(c)
Our filing for EB1(c) went in about 3 weeks ago, got the biometrics appointments letters today with appts for Oct 25th. Will let you know what happens next - it'd be brilliant to get the GCs for Christmas, in a 'Santa came early' way, although I'm not holding my breath.
