Question L1A executive - subject matter expertise

Hello,

Can anyone recommend an outstanding immigration lawyer from their networks who is a subject matter expert on L1A executive, and the process to Green Card?

Thanks

Outstanding + Immigration Lawyer = Oxymoron. Sorry not helpful.

I have an immigration lawyer here in Austin that I think has done a sterling job inspite of my son's best efforts to derail things. PM me and I'll send you her details. Our stuff is relatively straight forward but she was recommended by others with far trickier circumstances.

Saying that - the transition from L1A to GC is handled by your company lawyers, not you. Even if you think they are making a pig's ear of it , there isn't much you can do. I also suspect that some companies deliberately ask the lawyers to go slow on this GC process - once you have it, you can bugger off.

L1A and green cards should be pretty much the bread and butter of anyone who claims to be an immigration lawyer - meaning it involves filling in forms but is not a challenging task to perform in most cases.

and yet you would be surprised at how often the big firms **** it up.
As you say, it is supposed to be relatively easy so the lawyers give it to the paralegals to do, so whether it is a junior paralegal that messes things up or the lawyers it is hard to say.
