Default L1 to H1B Visa Status change

I am currently working on L1 Visa and it will expires in 2 months and
I am in US currently.

I have a job offer from one more compnay which will process from H1B.
since th Visa quota is over for this year,

If this new compnay applies for Visa and after my L1 Visa expires,
will I be eligible to work in US with out any problems, until I get my
H1B approved.

Really appreciate answering my question.

No. You can't start work until your H-1B is approved (which will be
October at the earliest). You'll have to leave the USA when your L-1
expires, then get an H-1B visa once your petition is approved before
you can re-enter the USA and start work.

It might just be possible to change status to B-2 visitor, stay in
the USA without working, then change status again to H-1B when it is
approved. I suspect you won't get away with this though.
