Can't recommend anyone, but do you work for a company that can actually transfer you? Thought you were looking at EB visas with regard purchasing a company?
It is normally the transfering company that petitions for the L1 visa.
You only moved back to the UK in June/July of this year .....

I’m the owner and CEO of my own international company, so I was thinking I could start a company in USA and go the L1 route. I’d run the US arm myself
ideally I like the US company to invest in US companies, funds, startups and VC’s
I would initially fund the US company myself from my main company or even personally. I’d be ok if this US company went onto buy real estate too (maybe a mobile home park, run as an operating business) and also hire US talent to indirectly work for my international company.
So I envision the US company to have three arms
- US investments
- real estate
- employ US talent
Ultimately if I go to USA I’d want a green card. Is this a good workable idea ?

I moved here on an L1a with a smaller company than many. Make sure you ask the lawyers you interview about their experience with similar size entities.

It is not “black and white” like that. You can read the published requirements here:

While there is some information about the employee being petitioned for, the bulk of the 2-3” of documents in my pack was related to the US and Irish firm. So a lot of the information will likely come from your CFO. I would have your head if HR shortlist firms for you and then do some initial calls. If you are new to US employment and will have a small headcount I would recommend you look at using a PEO to save on hiring another dedicated HR in the US.

Go for a relatively small firm with a dedicated team of attorneys who have a good track record. My company uses a large national firm with an immigration arm and they are absolutely terrible.

Why didn't you include those in the original number instead of just the 10 contractors. Full and complete information is the only way to obtain good information.

This may sound crazy
I wonder what this situation would be :
what I mean is, I want to make a company in the states which invests in other US companies while at the same time hiring US talent to work for me to provide extra service to my international company.
I can easily get 15% annual return on 1.8 million in US investments - that’s conservative for me. That 15% I can use to pay around 60% of ten US employees ($25 dollars an hour / 35 hours weekly). The other 40% of the wages my international company can fund by buying what those 10 US employees produce with all the work they do (which the international company really needs).
does this scenario sound doable for a EB-5 or L1?

I don’t think you will be able to hire 10 investment professionals for $45,000 each a year, also are you going to provide benefits? What are they going to do, fill in TPS reports all day?
