L1 and Advance Parole status

L1 and Advance Parole status
Please help for any experience on this.
I have L1 visa, already expired 2 moths ago. But the L1 status (PED)
and I-94 is still valid till Aug 2008.
I now apply adjustment of status. If I apply advance parole and use it
ot reenter US, will I lost my L1 status ?

In order to enter the United States, you have to LEAVE the US. It is at that point you lose your L-1 status.
