Default L-1 Visa Interview

Hi all,

We have our L1/L2 interview on Monday, We have filed DS-160s online and submitted photos with them.

First email we had said to check the website for what documentation to bring:
The website says:

"One 5 x 5 cm (2” by 2”) color photograph taken within the last six months: If you have successfully uploaded a photograph to the DS-160, you are not required to submit an additional photograph with your application. If there are any issues with the uploaded photograph, however, you will be required to provide a new one which may delay the processing of your application; "

But one of the other many emails we have received said you need to bring a recent photo to your interview.

Any Ideas if definitely do need one or don't? Do we just need one in case there is a problem with the uploaded one?

Thank you!

I would definitely bring one.

Bear in mind they require photos set to the American Passport standard, which is larger than the ordinary UK version. So try and find a photobooth that does international sizes.

I was unable to upload my elder son's picture (white shirt with white background) and took along some UK sized passport photos of which they took one. If they had not accepted them I was ready to use the in embassy photo machine to get the correct size, but YMMV.

Hey, It was really easy, arrive they give you a number and you wait in big waiting room, like an airport, for number to be called. Go up to the window assigned.
1st window they check through the paperwork, send you to the cashier to pay the fee. then call you 2 a 2nd window for the interview.
Actual "interview" was all of about 5 questions. Whats the Company, Job, etc. they take your passports, and send them back in a few days.
whole process is not unlike clearing customs usually in the US.

Good Luck!
