Default just a bit of an update on my wife (good news)

It has been a few weeks since I posted so I thought I would update all
the helpful people here.

My wife got her Green Card in May. We didn't have to go in for an
iterview either.

She passed her drivers test and got her license. (After 4 tries)

She has returned to China for the summer to see her family. She hasn't
been able to go back since she got here. (18 months)

I lost my job of almost 9 years last week. :(

At least money isn't going to be a problem for the next year or so.
We're both chronic savers. I expect to be working again within a month
or two.

Congrats on your (mostly) good news. It is when little steps forward like these are made that those of us going through the immigration process feel we're making some positive progress. I'm sure your wife was thrilled when she realized she would be able to go back to China for a bit after all that waiting.

Sorry about your job. Hope that gets worked out soon and you find something just as good or better than the last one!
