J1 trainee VISA with foundation degree only

Hello,

I have received a job offer from a US company that would like to get me on board on a J1 visa.

I have read online that one of the requirement to qualify one of the requirement is:
'Has a degree or professional certificate from a foreign post-secondary academic institution and at least one year of prior related work experience in his or her occupational field outside the United States;'

I have the experience but the only degree I hold is a Foundation degree from a UK university (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundation_degree). Would that be considered as valid or there is a need for a bachelor?

Whether it's considered valid or not - your chances of getting the visa are 0% if you don't apply. So... apply - and find out!

Ian
