Hi

I was thinking, if you go to the embassy for your interview (we are
dcf in London) and you have bits wrong with say your affidavit, do
they give u a new form to refill it in, or is it tough luck?

LOL...I'm a worrier too and it doesn't hurt to ask. They were all very helpful and kind at the embassy so don't worry. I forgot to copy my visascreen certificate but they did it for me.

If you are talking about modifying an answer on an I-134, I would think they would let that correction be made (they will probably take their pen and do it for you), however if you are talking about them having a problem because you did not document it well (missing key supporting documentation/evidence), that can be a problem if you don't happen to have what it is they want, in your briefcase.

No it is the I-864 He and his wife are doing the layman's DCF through London's US Consulate.

Oh, I missed the part about it being an immigrant visa case. No matter, my reply still stands about making corrections to a form vs. not having the proper documentation to go along with the form.

London is apparently very good at doing everything they can to help you sort out problems right there on the spot. If there are documents you need that you dont have or if you need more evidence, support etc then they will most likely hold the file open for you until you can get what they want.

People who have gone through this have said that London will allow you to come back any day, any time once youve got everything together again.

I think they go a long way to get you your visa on the day if they can.

I am hearing that London is one of the good guys when it comes to K-3
processing. Didn't someone recently have an interview with a lady
overthere (the one that likes cats-that I *do* remember about the post.)

When I went for my interview in London, I had an RFE.
The reason for this was that I didn't realise that my ex-wife had to write a consent letter for me to bring my 17 year old daughter.
Anyway, I was told that when I had that letter to just go back to the Embassy, (no need for an appointment) which I did, and they issued my (and my daughter's) visas.
I guess the point is, it depends on what, if anything, they find wrong or incomplete.
