immigration problems in the uk
We are seriously considering moving back to the Uk. We have just watched a news report on immigration problems in Europe and the Uk. Hundreds and hundreds of Islamics arriving or trying to get into the UK. Camps in Calais. We have heard reports of violence and communities changing. We have seen footage of huge problems in Sweden ( in areas we visited several times) These beautiful little towns dont look the same and we were last there only 5 years ago. Lots of people ( Islamic) rampaging through the streets. This seems to be happening all over Europe. Is it getting like this in the UK.
I dont want to come across racist. Its just we now live in an place were there are lots of different nationalities and everyone gets along great.
I just dont want to move back somewhere were theres lots of racial tension, right wingers and Islamics marching through the streets.
This issue scares us more than anything else, you dont know where it may lead.
Your thoughts please if you are still there, planning to leave or have just left. You can't always believe everything you get from media reports

Yes, they do like to wander through the streets shaking their fists and looking to convert people, hopefully they can remove things like women`s suffrage and put whiners to the scimitar.
As for the towns and areas where most immigrants tend to settle, well...most are working class locations and most looked like shit anyway, long before the current wave of immigrants even got there. All they`ve done is just made some of these holes more colourful to live in and visit.
Is it just islamics that you are concerned about or immigrants in general?

Well being an immigrant myself I can not criticise people wanting to try other places. Its just the Islamics we see on tv here screaming total hatred towards the west - that is very scary. Thats what bothers us most. Move to other countries by all means but embrace your new home and don't try to change it. And why be so aggressive?

Immigrants wherever they move to, gradually implement certain aspects of their own culture onto the culture of their new host country, history is littered with examples of this. When the economic environment of the host country is stable, then these changes are usually accepted, when the said location is in economic turmoil then far less so. Europe in the next 100 years or so, will probably be a very different place to what it is now.
As for being agressive, well man in general is agressive depending on your beliefs.....for example Darwinism. He can also be easily provoked and act in a "State of Nature" as explained by English philosopher Thomas Hobbes.
Point here being, that most of what we see and experience, has a far deeper meaning and lesson than we first imagined.

What I really wanted was views from normal people not some university style, educated middle class bollocks.
If the west were not constantly involved in middle eastern affairs, then they would have nothing to shout about, so the problem could be seen as stemming primarily from the west itself.

Well thanks for your useless input. I have just looked through your previous posts. You are the typical person that just likes to wind people up and not be helpful at all. You are not even in the UK.
