Default Immigration paperwork

I obtained US citizenship in 2014. Is it safe to shred all of my immigration paperwork? Going back to 2000; L1 visas, green card stuff, etc.

My daughter still only has a green card; what should I keep?

Thanks,
DM

Personally, I would keep everything. Maybe scan it to keep it digitally instead of paper, if you're trying to save space.

Unless you are seriously strapped for space, I would do what Noorah suggested and keep it all. Unless you have a massive pile of documents supporting your expertise for your L-1, surely it can't be more than a stack of paper a couple of inches high?

I have piles and piles of paperwork spanning 17 years that I would love to get rid of. My lawyer unfortunately advised me to keep it all or at least scan it.

Yeah, it's not much - one hanging folder in the filing cabinet I can grasp in one hand.

Thank you for the replies!

I join in at least scanning it and then save the file is four places.
